Yeo’s Cheng Bou Leong Celebrates Chinese New Year with a New Limited Edition Cans and Fun Events

PHENOM PENH: Yeo’s Cheng Bou Leong Soft Drink is making waves this Chinese New Year with its new limited edition cans and exciting public events. On Febuary, 10, the company held a program at the night market No05 along National Road 5 near the Russey Keo flyover, attracting a large crowd eager to taste the soft drink and participate in fun games.


Participants were treated to a free drink and a red packet (hongpao), expressing their joy and appreciation for the delicious taste of the beverage. Many attendees were impressed by the new can design,

Ms. Vin, who participated, expressed her interest: "I used to drink this kind of drink, but this new can make more delicious!"

"The taste is not very sweet when you drink, it make me feels fresh," said Ms. Sineth.

Mr. Ousa said: "I used to drink it before and now it has changed the shape of a new can, I like it, I love it and the taste is delicious,"

Yeo’s Cambodia is welcoming in the Year of the Dragon with a creative roar as Asia’s leading drinks brand unveils a limited edition Cheng Bou Leong can to ensure customers can celebrate Chinese New Year in style.


Yeo’s Cambodia is inviting customers to join in with the Chinese New Year celebrations, while wishing them good luck for the Year of the Dragon, with special packaging. The red can symbolises joy, celebration, vitality, success and good fortune, while the colourful dragon pays tribute to the upcoming year.


To mark the launch of the new design, while aptly ringing in the New Year, Yeo’s Cambodia is hosting a series of fun activities. The highlight will see a Chinese flash dance mob entertain diners at restaurants throughout Phnom Penh. These include spicy noodle joints, Sichuan hot pot spots, soup and barbecue places, and food night markets.

One lucky winner, Sophea, expressed her happiness at being able to participate in the games and credited Cheng Bou Leong for her success.

Ms. Sophea: "The first game, blowing balloons made me run out of air, I lost, then I came to drink this (Cheng Bou Leong) and re-entered the next round, I was successful. I feel like after drinking I feel strong again".

Sophea also praised the soft drink for being gentle on her stomach, unlike other beverages that sometimes cause discomfort.
